So when you find yourself in the position where you burn the midnight oil doing work your team was tasked to do because no matter how well you write out instructions or share how you need the results to look fairly regularly….

 

….well you already know that’s a problem!

 

So rather than looking to hire ANOTHER team member who could pick up the slack, or waiting for the dust to settle and for ‘things to go back to normal’ aka “wait and see and hope” there’s a better way – a faster one.

 

And hiring new talents, creating ‘better’ systems and Standard operating procedures or ‘just seeing this through until things calm down’ are not it!

 

But that’s what most business owners are taught TO do when there’s a problem.

 

Because you’re solution focussed. Instead of dwelling on a problem you understand that does nothing, so you find ways to deal with the problem.

But really, that’s step 2 or 3.

 

So you want to focus on the step that comes BEFORE that!

 

The one that allows you to hire out without being overwhelmed by the lack of time, and stresses you out just THINKING about having to work on your systems to optimize them…

 

…before you do any of these, you’ll need to find out the source your overwhelm!

 

And the source isn’t found OUTSIDE of you.

 

It’s like trying to organise your overstuffed suitcase by buying a suitcase organiser.It doesn’t fix the mess nor does it free up space INSIDE the suitcase.

 

Which is why hiring new team members, creating new systems and funnels etc hasn’t worked for you because it doesn’t deal with the ACTUAL Problem.

 

To get to the root of YOURS you need to first look at where the overwhelm originates from and what currently overwhelms you the most.

 

And most importantly – give yourself PERMISSION to do this work.

 

Ambitious leaders and thinkers often struggle with taking time for themselves because you’re so focussed on doing good and helping others that you get pushed to the side.

 

You’re allowed to be at peace. You’re allowed to be free. You’re allowed to be supported and run your business WITHOUT needing to be stressed and burnt out.

 

Start there first.
