Aside from Jason Mamoa’s beard nearly breaking the internet here’s a conversation I had on sales call this week:

“I can make 5k, but I’ll kill myself doing it….” She said

➖ 20 clients a month.
➖ All of them asking for discounts.
➖ Over half of them don’t stick to appointment schedules AND she’s got to do this every month.

Let’s be clear – making 20 sales a month, every month, is pretty fucking impressive.

The part where she’s chronically burnt out, her blood pressure is through the roof and she’s gained 20kg because cooking is no longer an option means she’s gonna crash completely sooner or later. ????

Not to mention zero date nights with the hubby or cuddles with Bruce, the cocker-spaniel. BOO!

Me: “You need to up your prices big time + have solid offers that aren’t confusing people!”

Her: “But won’t I lose all my clients that way?”

Me: “Instead of 20 you’ll only need 2 people to make it to 10k a month. Which is currently double than what you’re making while you’re slowly (or not so slowly) killing yourself.”

Her: “…….F*CK! I’ve never thought about it that way!”

Her problem?

❌ Wrong prices
❌ Unclear Packages + too many of them
❌ Non-existent boundaries
❌ People Pleaser

If you want to easily make 10k+ months these might hold you back as well.

Making money is often not the issue.

The problem lies first and foremost in difficult offers and misaligned prices.

Here’s the fix:

# RESULTS = OFFER

Features are great, but when you’re speaking to your audience they don’t care HOW you do your work.

They just want to get it done.

Start by articulating the results/outcome you get your people, instead of explaining how much time they’re getting and what work you’ll be doing.

# SOMEONE ELSE’S PRICES AREN’T YOURS

“How much should I charge for this?” is on par of asking “what’s the best favorite color to have?”

There is no universal answer.

If you’re asking other people how much YOU should be charging, you risk taking on their money limitations too. #nothankyou

If you want to work out your prices, think of how much you WANT to make a month ( outgoings + extra dough to spare)
